The CAE e-Learning course for the AS350 is designed to provide pilots with knowledge of the features, systems, operations and limitations of the B, BA, B1 and B2 helicopter models. The program encompasses 20 modules and may be completed in about 15 hours. The highly interactive course incorporates simulations, animations, video and other elements which facilitate student comprehension. Knowledge checks and online assessments are provided at key intervals. The course is approved by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to deliver the pilot training ground school for the Eurocopter AS350 helicopter through a CAE e-Learning program, enabling pilots to reduce their time at the training centre for both initial and recurrent training.
