This course is divided into three modules that explore Low Visibility Operations. The first module is an introduction to low visibility requirements, fog classification, reduced visibility due to fog, and cockpit view factors. The second module provides in-depth coverage of concepts including surface movement factors, RVR equipment, obstacle clearance requirements, ILS approaches, MLS approaches, and Decision Height. The third module discusses the procedures involved with CAT II and CAT IIIA approaches.
