Aircraft Specific Pilot Training Courseware (CBT)

CAE has a series of E-learning courses to support pilot training from initial to continuation training. These include systems and procedural CBT for the B737NG, CRJ-200, CRJ-700/900, and the EMB 170.
Interactive virtual walkaround lessons provide views of component locations and inspection areas around the aircraft, along with descriptions of specific items that need to be verified or checked. These interactive virtual walkarounds replace the need for an actual aircraft to learn how to correctly perform these tasks.

Maintenance Technician Training Courseware (CBT)

CAE has a series of E-learning courses to support maintenance training. Today, these include courses for post Ab Initio training, Type training, and OJT training. These courses combine simulation with traditional learning content to provide students exposure to a "virtual" aircraft without the costs and logistical concerns associated with the equivalent real world aircraft. Courses are available for the B737NG, CRJ-200 and CRJ-700.

Simulation Based Pilot and Maintenance Training Tools

For years, CAE has provided the equivalent of a level D Full Flight Simulation on a desktop environment. This simulation is now available over the web for use by trainees or instructors for systems, procedural, FMS and troubleshooting training, review and/or practice. Solutions are available today for the B737NG, CRJ-200, G-IV, Citation X, A320 and A340.

Simulation practice tools are available for the following aircrafts:

Accelerated Ab-initio Flight Training Courseware (CBT)

CAE is among the first launches a series of web-based accelerated ab-initio flight training modules. These modules contain media rich self-paced presentations of varied subjects such as Basic Aerodynamics, Earth Orientation, Weather Theory, Using Charts and Maps, Airport Familiarization, Using the Jeppesen Airway Manual and many others.
