"During the last eight months of development of the Mooney Airplane Company "Mooney Performance Academy" CAE has more then met the requirements outlined in our contracts.
The flexibility in tailoring the program to our needs, and incorporating changes with minimal impact on the overall schedule has shown that they are truly a leader in this industry."

These flight simulator based tools allow you to practice checklists, procedures and specific scenarios, in normal or abnormal conditions and experience aircraft reaction in real-time. Based on the same aviation simulation used in CAE’s full flight simulators, students can interact with autopilot, Flight Management System (FMS), flight instruments or any other simulated aircraft system in realistic operating conditions.

Answering your flight simulator based training needs

Flight Management Systems Trainer (FMST)

FMST flight simulation Integrates complete flight management capabilities, including navigation display of routes and navaids. The navigation database could be World wide, generic or your own airline.

Virtual Simulator (VSIM) and Virtual Maintenance Trainer (VMT)

VMT flight simulation Offers the functionality of a full flight simulator where almost all procedures can be performed as in a live cockpit. The VMT combines maintenance training features such as LRU, Cockpit-initiated BITE, and component location providing a "virtual aircraft".

Virtual Systems Trainer (VST)

VST flight simulation The Virtual System Trainer environment will provide pilots or maintenance personnel with a structured environment to review the operations of various systems and procedures. It may be used in initial ground school for post review of systems and procedures. It can also be used after initial training and as a complement to recurrent training.

The Virtual System Trainer is organized like an MS Windows tree structure. This tree structure becomes the lesson plan for the student giving them quick access to the VSIM and other multimedia that could make up a lesson.
